ROOM 03Of course, we do think differently. We have different ways of seeing the world. Other beliefs, values, and experiences. Each of us carries our own heavy luggage. Filled with stories, joys, regrets and traumas.

Still, we manage to find in each other that spot where we meet. That crossed area in the Venn diagram where we relate. But deep down we know that we are not equal. On the contrary, we are very different. Somehow, we managed to come this far dealing with so many unique personalities.

It takes two to start a fight but only one to stop it, or not even start it.

I can try to push all my views and beliefs into you. I might think that I hold the truth, that I am above. And so do you. If we both fall into that trap, how can I  learn a bit about you?

So, I choose to listen.

It also takes two to start a conversation, and you need both to keep it going.
